I like your play. The 21 point anchor is harder to race off of than higher anchors and you already have the 10 point so you can attempt to prime him keeping all your checkers in play.

Other plays don't leave you a lot of choice with upcoming dice rolls, so you are basically hoping to win the holding game. But I can believe that it's close either way.
