Players will learn to properly manage their time and to shake the dice a bit quicker as in Brent's case.

I played 5 doubles matches with Brent, and I didn't sit where I could see the clock so I sometimes leaned over and looked at it. We talked a lot about some moves and used lots of time, but not so much that we had any real troubles.

Brent did often take a long time shaking the dice and while he was doing so, I'd be thinking how to play a couple of rolls.

Denmark is using 2/12 and they think that it is the right T/C. I am opposed to making it 2.5/12 and note that this match here took 3.5 hours for a 13 pter clocked at 2/12 !

I would not be opposed to adding 2 minutes to the reserve time for all matches since it can be a bit rushed to play a 5 pt match with 10 min reserve time for some players.. but if a vote came up as to whether 2/12 or 2+2/12, I'd still vote to keep it 2/12 and get more data.

BG is not chess, nor is it meant to be played at chesslike speeds. Most tourneys here in the US last really long anyhow due to all the side events. The chances of conflicts and delays on Sundays are reduced by having clocks using 2/12.
