Brent and I played 19 games -- many of them long, complicated games. I would not be at all surprised if there were on the order of 700 total moves. So, 350 moves for Brent; if he wasted an average of only 1 second reserve per move that amounts to almost 6 minutes. At the conclusion of the match he had 23 seconds and I had something like 7:30 remaining. Very close to 1 second reserve per move. The prolonged shakers are always going to have problems if they use most or all of their delay in shaking the dice. I give a good hard 2-3 shakes and a nice tumbling roll -- I can't imagine that I typically use more than 3-4 seconds in gathering and rolling the dice.
