Neil replies..I can be faster than that if I want to be. To me the key is a hard shake and a tumbling roll. This ensures that the dice are going to be random. It is also good to use proper equipment and not to have big hulking dice in small cups. Big hulking dice don't tumble around inside small cups and don't turn much if at all on the board unless thrown quite hard.
