White hasn't the timing for hanging back with two chequers after that roll.

He could hang back with one only, like 22/10 13/7(2). But to me this leaves blue free to build his outfiled (leavnig a blot in the 12pt).

Also, I'm not sure getting hit is so danger-free: after that roll the race is close to even, so I would avoid leaving blots (22/4 13/7 looks bad to me).

I would go for 22/16 (2) 13/7(2): blue will have hard times clearing his 14pt and 12pt. If he succeeds, we can still go for the race without blotting going home (most likely).
