I suspect my opponent is as surprised as you are that the take is so big, let alone existant.

OTB, it just seemed that Stick had way too much work to do and my board would offer some blitz protection. I didn't like that all points were stripped, but in the end it seemed like a reasonably comfortable take to me. As I recall I regretted it immediately as I think Stick rolled a 65 and pointed on me. In the end I know I must have jokered out of that hole because Stick only had 1 point when he managed to luckbox his way to another win on a 16 cube.
