Breaking the board up with 5/3 4/1 or 5/2 4/2 seems horrible. Leaving a shot is similarly horrible.

That leaves 4/2 4/1 saving 6 4s (43 42 41, but not 64 54 44) but leaving a gap.

My general feeling is that when the race lead is not that big, as here, and opp is also running out of time, gaps are very bad. So I would play 5/2 5/1.
