I usually hit in this kind of position but recently got burnt by Carter who said it's nearly always better not to leave a shot even if it means getting stripped and the rollout supported him so now I go for the safe play. Unless Blue rolls and immediate 6 his inner board will probably get worse for the race and compensate the 2 point gap wouldn't it?
