OTB busting the 6 pt looked too sucky to imagine. Also when I am the clearly stronger player I want to keep a strong frontal position so that I can turn games around. 4 ply says that 8/2 is a tad worse than my choice of 8/7 8/3.

As for breaking the board winning the rollout..well it does still keep a blotless 3 pt board.
