Chuck - I played this 100 times last night as White against gnu last night and won 13. The strategy of building a snaking outside prime with White's checkers doesn't work very well. Much more efficient is to block large doubles... for example, by building the 12 and 15 points, it takes only 4 checkers to prevent Blues doubles after getting hit from escaping containment. Spreading White's points also seems more effective for jarring extra Blue checkers lose.

My feeling tho, is Gnu gives more opportunities to hit than necessary, allowing White to develop quicker. I'll probably play this out some more, as its good containment practice. Not sure this board is interested tho, so... if you want data, I can email it.
