two interesting decision

the cube and the checkerplay!

and i have in both problems troubles to find the best play.

first cube: ahead in the race. white has 3 men back and no anchor! we are trailering in the match 0-5. i guess scorebased this is a close double.

i double.

checkerplay without the double: the double hit with the 8 pointmen is too risky. white has a better board and many return shots. no thanks

13/4* is a possibility. but there are others.

ugly 13/8 6/2 is really ugly. i dont play this.

17/8 a running play. i play this.
