I am going for safe play 17/13.

We have racing lead,less man back,white has better board.What else is necessary to choose safe play? Maybe Neil's vote :-)

White position will improve so paying later is riskier than now. If we pay now are we home free? Not yet. If we don't pay now are our position become awkward? Not clear. But maybe we don't need to pay at all.

It is better to have no man behind four prime than one.54 52 51 hit and cover.It is significant.
