Make the 11 point and then either make the 9 point or clear the mid altogether. I think it's just clear the mid totally, and then just worry about bringing the 11 home. Should be easy enough with 3 landing spots and a bunch of spares. Making the 9 is stripped and still leaves you with the problem mid to clear and then the 9 point afterwards...too much of an annoyance.
