Running seems anti-thematic considering the race. 6-2 slots the five point. 6-3 doesn't do anyting and 6-4 slots the three. I would expect that running is worst after 6-2 and best after 6-3. I would probably play from the mid after all three anyway. But, I expect 6-3 is close.

With the sequence 31P, 66B (Both 24-18(2), 13-7(2)), 6x I would expect 6-3 to be the worst play for running with 6-2 being the best based on what a checker from the midpoint accomplishes. I would probably play from the mid after all three again with 6-2 being close.
