-1,-7, Priming or blitzing?

At this score with four back and no structure, I'm going to keep my eye on potential backgammons. I probably am not going to base my strategy on this theme since it doesn't pay often enough. But, I won't be afraid to send more back just in case. Let him play a backgame if he wants.

16-9 looks OK. But, I think I would try 13-11, 13-8 leaving the blot on the 16 to contest the opponent's outfield. I'll try to make the 4,5 & bar points and prime or blitz as the opportunity presents itself. Priming may win more backgammons since it may give a chance to pick up more blots. I probably would not make the 2 soon.
