World Championship

This idea, although interesting, seems pretty farfetched from a practical standpoint. BG has no worldwide governing body, and individuals organize tournaments to make money. The current World Championships tournament is owned by Patti Rubin. Would Patti be willing to move it to Las Vegas or some other promising fixed locale? Maybe. Would she undertake to move it around every year, with all the attendant organizational work and the constant risk of financial loss at each new locale? I very much doubt it.

Would someone else step in to undertake the full-time job of organizing a World Championship in a different world capital every year? Not unless there were some money in it, which obviously there is not.
