I had no trouble finding buyers for my Euros last year. One of them hit the jackpot and may be looking to economically turn them back into dollars.

Anyway, the way to go is:

0. Find someone looking for Euros who will be happy to trade at spot. 1. Charge everything on your credit card. And even better if you can go out to dinner with Europeans that will pay you their share in cash. 2. Cash withdrawl from an ATM 3. Cash advance.

Money changers are crooks. Especially when you have a bunch of Euros left at the end of your trip and want to change them back. Some money changers at least guarantee to buy them back cheap (to encourage you to change more than you think you need).
