There are 2 tournament hotels (see brochure: http://www.world-backgammon-association.com/images/stories/events/Enghien2009/enghien2009web.pdf). The playing room is on the first floor of a building in between the 2 hotels. There is also a direct access to the building from the hotels. One doesn´t even have to go out to get to the playing room. Hotel rate (Single) is 125€ but you get the 5th night for free, so that reduces it to 100€ in average. In the same building as the playing roon, there is a huge spa and wellness center on the 3rd floor. Just across the street, there is a lake, restaurants and the casino.. Within 2 minutes walking distance, there is the main street with restaurants, cafés and shops. The train statio is within 10 minutes walking distance and the train takes you to Paris city directly. Enghien is located 9 km out of Paris and from Charles de Gaulle international airport, it is shorter to get to Enghien than to Paris itself.
