Seth, I suggest you use the search feature and look for posts on clocks on this site. You will find more opinions than you bargained for.

I had my iPhone with the clock app and thought it a good opportunity to expose players to clock play. I suggested playing without a timeout penalty just to get used to it. There were no problems at all and the feedback from all players was entirely positive. In all, three more bg players have now played a match with a clock.
