Agreed. It is a courtesy (but the right thing to do) to provide the opponent with the match record. Similarly, unless the rules or policy of the event specifically gives players the right to record the match, it is a courtesy (and the right thing to do) for a player to allow his opponent to record the match. A player that consistently does not provide the former courtesy should not be upset when his opponents do not provide the latter courtesy.
