What did Stick do to deserve THIS?

In Response To: What did Stick do to deserve THIS? (Chuck Bower)

Stick and Sander lost in the same place in the main. Sander needed to then win 5 to win the 1 loss group. Stick needed to win 6. So Basically Sander got lucky with a bye instead of Stick, it happens all the time. It just looks worse because it seems to appear late. But I think the bracketing could be redrawn and be the same tournament with the bye appearing to occur immediately. I don't see anything wrong.
