In Response To: What did Stick do to deserve THIS? (Bob Koca)

Scientist Jack Koehler devotes an entire chapter in his book "The Science of Pocket Billiards" to evaluations of the various formats for running a tournament. Is it easier to win 5 or 6 matches is the question. The odds of getting a bye are better in option A vs. option B. Thus, I believe option A would be my answer.
