off course everyone is different but what has said Achim worked for me small positional cards on my mistake + the books he mentionned.
on small cards i liked to write first what i thought was correct, then write down why i made as a mistake what did i overlooked and put down what the bots as a human should have told me. going to this process helped me a lot to not repeat wrong thinkings.
Do I have game plan? prime holding game blitz race... if you have plan then checkers mooves are easier to play,if you wait the dice to decide what to play you will never have a overwiew of the game in the long run( off course you must be ready to change plan very quikly according to dice distribution this is the hardest part).
what's the score and where is the cube
you won't make much mistakes with the score but when you do they might be major blunders.
important is to understand according to the 30 checkers on the board how to take a decision-
