In addition to the primary points already made by Stick, note that waiting and rolling 6-2 or 5-3 is also much better than leaving a shot on the mid-point now.

Another thing to consider is whether or not the strong play overshoots the mark when it works. When you have a double out, you lose the excess. At this lopsided score and cube position, I can't tell whether or not this would be the case here.
