MCG did that a while back. I'm double checking this weekend for my setting. If we look at the cubeful results for an opening 32B we see that this is as close to pick'em as we can get..noting 46K rollouts. I should have several thousand+ games done by Monday..hopefully enough to tell if there's a significant difference. Anyhow, as long as 3 ply play isn't worse, it makes sense to check any opening play or reponse where GNU and Snowie results aren't both in agreement by running some GNU 3 ply.
