I love baffle boxes...I own two of them....and I love them because:

1. there are rarely cocked dice or dice thrown off the table 2. I don't have to worry if the other person shakes enough 3. I don't have to sit there and watch him shake for 10 minutes

Once you get used to a baffle box, you love it.

As far as the dice in an enclosed cup and other remedies, I can understand why people who are used to doing it one way for years will not like change, but you can get used to it in time.

We know that if there are high stakes involved, there will be people who will cheat. Catching them is difficult; accusing people has many difficulties; and banning people could lead to law suits. But putting in procedures that make it difficult for anyone to cheat is a solution that makes sense to me.
