One thing I'm pretty sure of is that if you are going to hit one checker with the goal of getting more men sent back, you should hit two checkers. That forces white to hit you with any 5 and 4 and prevents him from slotting the back of the prime on this roll. And you can rehit and create more blots if he misses.
23/21(2) looks like a very viable candidate, leaving multiple spares on the 21 point ready to leap, and one on the 22 just in case. Then lets see if the timing holds out. But the back of the prime will be slotted for sure, and you want to roll the 6 to escape and you will hit in the process. So it begs the question of why not hit right now preemptively.
I would probably play 13/12*/11* 22/21 5/4 particularly because it looks like the most fun.
