I'm not at all surprised by the inconsistency demonstrated in your error ratings in the two reported matches -- such would be common of many.

I am sure you are, however, surprised by your inconsistency considering:

I have averaged 3.4 over my last 10 matches on GridGammon.

I used to average 3.5 over thousands of matches.

I once played 100 successive 5 point matches against GGRaccoon with an average of 1.8.

I once played 10 successive 5 point matches against GGRaccoon with an average of 0.942.

I don't think I'm a good player."
