Neil asks..why? Are you really afraid of White's fly shots at GG when he has two blots in his 2 pt board? 13/11 adds an extra builder for the very desirable bar point here.

I guess I should clarify what I meant with my "carbon filter". All I meant was that the play never entered my mind as a candidate play to consider at all. Maybe I would have given it more thought if it had, although I'll never know.

So, Neil's remark that "13/11 adds an extra builder for the very desirable bar point here" is the concept that I'm missing... if I had that priority in my mind better, then 13/11 could have entered my mind...
