+1 for CMC from me.
I've witnessed too many times supposed favorite players justifying their errors saying "I would have done differently against a stronger opponent". Last example, in 2 7pt matches between Stick and Fabrizio Lo Surdo I recorded in Cannes. Fabrizio won the 1st one with a lower ER (4.6 to 6.2), but in the 2nd he made 3 cube blunders (one .400) and justified "I thought I was playing better hence I wanted to keep the cube low". Outcome: he won, but in the 2nd match, he played much worse than Stick (9.7 to 4.3). Had the chance been a hair more on Stick's side, Fabrizio would have regretted his silly "skill difference driven" passes.
BTW I remeber that in the 2nd match, Stick needed a 62 to basically turn the match around. He rolled and got the 62, but the die on 2 did not land perfectly flat, just a hair from flat, but not flat. In less than a second Stick picked up the dice and rolled again (missing the 62), when a simlpe breathe would have probably put the 62 down. This is the kind of sportsmanship and attitude I don't see as often as I would like to. Congrats !
