In Response To: -3 -7 cube (Stick)

When you're -3 and your opponent is > -5 and there's still significant contact you never have a cube,

I'd modify this slightly to say "When you're -3 and your opponent is > -5 and there are significant GAMMONS for either side, you never have a cube." Stick's statement isn't wrong, however, if the gammon rate goes way down for both sides, you often have a 'normal' double/take situation at these score, even with contact.
