Yes! Recently I was wondering why I hadn't done anything in LCs in a long time. I had the feeling I was not good at 5 point matches. Some things some people said, made me realize I was not playing them very well. My bad takes get absorbed by longer matches better too. Seems to me like 4 point games need to be avoided like the plague in 5 pointers. Now I have won two in a row, the one in Minnesota was particularly ridiculous, because I came from behind in every match to win. 0-4 to Linda Rockwell, 0-4 to Eric X, 0-4 to MCG, 0-2 to Ralph Stowell. I was behind 0-4/5 to Lee Genud in Florida, with 2 men up v 4 point board... and I tossed a pair of 4s that turned the tide and I won that match... I overcame 0-2/5 in finals v Carl Sorg to win.

Those wins were worth 2.5 and 3.7 ABT points respectively, providing me with a small cushion in the standings.

43 points now, but likely not enough to win even though the last two years 44 and 43 won the ABT. I probably have earned a trophy based on 6 cashes, (the same number of cashes I had in 2007), I don't know if anyone has ever cashed in 7 ABT events... though it seems like Neil MUST have sometime. That is my next goal, to get # 7.

See you in Madison, boys!
