I agree with Neil. The quality of a rollout is ultimately a function of the quality of the individual checker plays and cube decisions that comprise the rollout. A rollout's quality cannot be improved by increasing the number of poorly played games. Forget the fact that XG Roller does rollouts under the hood and imagine that it is simply a position evaluator that makes nearly perfect checker and cube decisions. Why would you not want such an evaluator to be used in your rollouts if the run time is not prohibitive?
