Assume Snowie/BGB/XG ply for this post..ie 1-ply is initial look.

Ever since I first saw the JF prototype I was convinced that as computer speed improved and hopefully bot speed as well, that rollouts using plays derived from mini-rollouts would be the way to get closer to the ultimate truth in BG.

This is simply bcuz a mini rollout is likely to be more accurate than even a 4 or 5 ply evaluation. We want the best possible play to be made at all times when doing rollouts.

Just my opinion .. neilkaz ..
