Robban,

Using the PRAT rule, you can often make a good assessment on most positions.

PRAT = Position, Race And Threat.

If you have 3 of the 3 (better position, ahead in the race, and threats), then its a Double / Pass. If you have 2 of the 3 (any two), then its a Double / Take. If you have 1 of the 3 then its a take, if you have none, its a pass.

This is a good 'general' rule, and doesnt always apply. Also the score has a huge impact on the decision too.

Regarding the rollout from Rory, I want to see a longer one, using G11. I dont doubt that this may be a small pass, but I want to see some more significant numbers used.
