Premature roll ruling

I don't believe the "enticement" concept is workable in practice unless we're going to have every match monitored or videotaped. Obviously everyone who rolls does so in the belief that their opponent's turn is done. Whether they were reasonable in holding that belief - in other words, whether they were "enticed" - is an almost impossible judgment for a director to reach unless there is an objective witness.
Of course with clocks it's a moot point altogether.
For the situation under discussion, if A claims that the premature roll was such-and-such before it was picked up, then the ruling should probably go against B because he's the one who has destroyed the evidence. But if A isn't going to claim that the dice had finished rolling, I don't see why there should be any penalty for B except being unable to double.
