There seems to be bot solidarity that this position is a pass. I doubt GNU-bg 3-ply cube is as good as 2-ply cube, but no matter. (3-ply play, yes.)

I have no idea at this score but I doubt it makes much of a difference. The problem isn't the high gammons, it's just that you don't win enough to make it a take. If Blue only won 74% of the games this would likely be a take even if almost all his wins were gammons.
