In Response To: 100 islanders logic puzzle (bob koca)

I'd say nothing happens, because there is no new information in the oracle's statement. Everybody knew beforehand that there is at least one islander with blue eyes. Since there has not been any suicides up until now, there should not be any because of what the oracle said this day.

It's obvious this explanation is too easy, though. There must be more to it than that...
