I wonder if the green eyes would be saved.

On day 1, nobody kills themselves, so everyone can conclude there are at least two with blue eyes.

...

On day 9, nobody kills themselves, so everyone can conclude there are at least ten with blue eyes.

On day 10, all those with blue eyes kill themselves because they can see only nine others with blue eyes. (And all the green eyes get to rest easy.)

That's a cute puzzle. I'm no logic expert, but the difficulty here seems to be the interplay between what you can see and what you can deduce. Initially, what you can deduce is less than what you can see so you discount it. But over time what you can deduce is greater than what you can see.
