Yet another logic puzzle

In Response To: Yet another logic puzzle (Maik Stiebler)

Player A chooses 10, player B chooses 20, player C announces "My numbers are 7 and 9 and the sum of one of my numbers and your numbers is 39."

Is there a difference between this and player C simply announcing, "The sum of your numbers is either 30 or 32"?
