what occurred is that a player who had no right whatsoever to touch the dice or the board took an action that stopped the dice from landing prematurely; said landing would have given us the ability to see the roll in advance or make the player roll over. We lost that ability because the partner grabbed the dice. Clearly that is not allowable in a doubles match.
