Chouette Debate

The less consulting you have, the more the stronger players benefit, overall.
It is certainly frustrating when you're on the outside and you can't give the captain any advice. But you only have a single cube at risk in that situation, as opposed to the situation where you're in the box holding a bunch of cubes and the same idiot captain can't get advice from anyone else.
Of course, if someone like Carter is the weakest player in the chouette, as I'm sure he often is, it makes no difference because he won't take anyone's plays anyway! But in all seriousness, I'm pretty sure any strong player should welcome the chance to play in a completely non-consulting chouette - and if he can't get that, something as close to non-consulting as he can find.
As a side point, the less consulting there is, the less the weaker players will learn over time.
