I'm almost sure no one has done it yet. It would be desirable, yes. People would be willing to pay for it, yes.

Some techincal problems are:

Reading the dice (small, they have to be 'found' be anywhere on the board surface). Knowing when a play is finished (handling play where the checkers are 'shuffled' before finishing the play). Reading cube turns. Dealing with clocked and non-clocked matches (possible issues with premature rolls in non-clocked). Dealing with illegal plays.

It would be great, though.
