In Response To: 100 islanders logic puzzle (bob koca)

If only 1 blue, then the announcement obviously will have an effect.

If only 2 blues, then they'll each reckon that the other blue is the only blue on the island. Here the announcement will also have an effect.

If 3 or more blues, then everybody already knows that there is at least 1 blue on the island.

What prevents the suicide wawe from starting by itself without the oracle's announcement, noting that the islanders are perfect at logic reasoning?
