I heard some excellent stories from Neil K. and others at the FLA tournament about guys that learned to cheat quite easily with baffle boxes. (Calling a number, getting doubles).

Baffle boxes, IMO, are no real protection against cheats. I'm sure the exact method of construction matters quite a bit. The ones with two 'ramps' were the ones that were described as easy to beat. If it is like a pachinko machine with a forest of pins the correct distance apart, I would think that would be more immune to cheaters. However, those tend to damage the dice.
