Phil: ...until I get 95% confidence
I keep seeing this, and keep wondering to myself, isnt this one of those things that we make GNU do properly? i.e. to get to 99.95% certainty on a rollout result, isnt that equivalent to 2 JSD's?, and 99.999% is 3 JSD's?
I may be confused, but I thought that was a need for statistically significant rollouts. I mean, 95% certainty is good, but its not absolute, is it? Or as close to absolute as we make GNU perform for its rollouts.
Perhaps Chuck or Bob could chime in here - I would be interested in being either re-educated on JSD's (or in general!).
Certainly, do I trust XG on 95% confidence? Is its speed relevant if we are comparing it to a GNU rollout thats 99.95%? Someone help!
