Neil But 3 ply play will take a long time..won't it? Well..GNU takes advantage of hyper threading and multiple cores and my comp on the trading floor looks like it has 8 cores and GNU rocks on it. I installed the latest GNU download for windows (comp is XP) and am getting a calib. eval of about 350,000/sec.

Now that I'm back on the BG I'm looking to invest in a new PC and am comparing the latest CPU's. I can't believe the improvemnt in evals/sec. My old Athlon XP 3200 only manages 28,000.

Can you tell me Neil what CPU you have please?

Does anyone use an E8500 chip or have one of the latest Intel i7 9?? chips?

I'd like to see some numbers for those too
