Is there a mathematical way of handling the multiple candidate case that is similar to the JSD method for two candidates?

(I can envision a way of doing it in software -- chop each distribution up into many tiny slices and do a brute-force sum to find out how much of each distribution overlaps the others -- but that's so inelegant.)
