Probability Problem

Isn't this like saying -- if I tell you (accurately) that one of my cards is an ace, then the chances of the other being an ace are 3/11. But if I turn over the ace, then the odds rises to 3/7. How can that be? (Or maybe it rises to even more than 3/7, a la the Monty Hall problem.)
