I've returned to my original solution.
IF she utters (truthfully) that she has an ace, then the chances of two aces is 6/22.
IF she utters (truthfully) that she has the ace of spades, then the chances of two aces is 3/7.
IF she doesn't say anything, the chances of two aces is 6/28.
The first case doesn't exclude the chance that she has the ace of spades. She isn't required to do so.
